Chords are the foundation for any guitarist. Whatever style you want to play, and however fast you want to play it, you must initially learn the chords. On the chord table to the left, are a list of the chords this site teaches you. These are just the basic shapes. There are many ways of playing each chord, and many other chords, but learn to play the basics. Learn them so your fingers fall into place without looking at your hands. Learn to be able to change from one shape to another, without any sound and minimal time and then you will be ready to advance on with you chords, tunes and any other areas you wish to explore.
