| Learn Guitar was set up by

This site has been designed to aid the beginner in guitar. When I was first learning, I was bombarded with tuition books in music shops, not knowing which one was the correct one to buy. It is not until you have a good basic understanding of the guitar that you can make the right decisions, as in what to buy next. As with all self taught musicians, it is hard to get the advice you need. That is why you should cover the basics first. I have put this site together using my own experience of learning, plus including links to other sites and resources that may be useful. The way the site takes you through tuning first is very important. Then following with and explanation of guitar tablature. When learning there is always so much information to take in. I have tried to limit the information to the bare essentials. That is what I have tried to keep with for the whole layout of the site. Not clouding the user with un-necessary information at their beginning stage of their new hobby. If you are a more experienced guitarist, then you could find this site useful for the links and midi files included. Please do not hesitate on using the response form for any suggestion or query. Thanks for visiting. Daniel Puddick
